You might say the Westmores were the OG beauty influencers. In 1917, British hairdresser George Westmore established the first hair and makeup department for films in Hollywood. Six of his children went on to become hugely successful movie makeup artists, and so began a lineage of Westmore beauty pros in Hollywood that spans four generations.
